The slew of earnings has been much anticipated given the recent turmoil surrounding the failures of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), Signature Bank and Credit Suisse. Observers were hoping to see signs that the crisis, which resulted from a \u201cperfect storm\u201d of poor risk management, fear, and social media inspired panic, was an isolated event. Investors were looking for validation that this was not a repeat of the widespread systemic failures of prior financial crises.
